Over the past several years, our club has partnered with Summer Harvest, a local nonprofit organization whose mission is providing healthy food and school supplies to students who are food insecure or have limited/uncertain availability of nutritionally adequate foods in communities who are not eligible for federal funding during school breaks. 

Los Alamitos/Seal Beach Rotary Club participation with Summer Harvest includes not only providing funding for these supplies but also help with preparing them for distribution. 

The Club has a lot of fun with this meaningful work. The kids and their families win, the Club volunteers win, and the community as a whole wins. What could be better than that? Contact us or stop by one of our Tuesday meetings and see how you “fit into the Club!”
