2022 RYLA Update

Each yeas our Club sponsors students for the Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA). This month the Club heard from Anisa Clair who was one of our Club’s RYLA representatives for 2022. Anisa attended a hybrid style camp with the first three nights consisting of Zoom conferences before heading “up the hill” to Idlewild to spend 3 days and two night in the mountains with the program’s other attendees.

Anisa shared some thoughtful insights about her RYLA experiences. She especially liked the time management and communications sections of the program and the friendships she developed during the camp. Anisa said that her big take away was the importance of really listening to others.

We want to thank Anisa for sharing her RYLA experiences with us and how well she represented our Club.
