Join us October 6 as Rotary welcomes Rory Schoonmaker, Head Football Coach of Los Alamitos High School, as our guest speaker!
A Huntington Beach native, Coach Schoonmaker brings nearly 20 years of coaching experience and a proven record of building competitive teams and strong football cultures.
His coaching journey includes stops at Edison, Canyon, Santa Ana, and El Segundo High Schools, with 7 league championships, 14 playoff appearances, 5 CIF Semifinal appearances, and 2 CIF Championship game appearances, including a CIF Championship at Canyon High School in 2015.
But great coaches do more than build winning teams. They build leaders, character, confidence, and community.
Come meet Coach Schoonmaker, hear his vision for Griffins Football, and learn more about the leadership principles he brings from the football field into the lives of young people.
